Be mesmerised by the changing hues of Wave Rock at sunset, while overhead flocks of pink and grey galahs roost in the tree-tops as you follow your local Aboriginal tour guide to Hippo's Yawn exploring the unique rock formations. A moderate climb to the top of the rock is rewarded with spectacular 360-degree view of the surrounding landscape. (There is an opt out route if participants choose not to walk to the top.) Follow the tour guide to walk down to the bottom of the rock viewing ancient hand stencils hidden beneath a rock overhang, past the Hyden weir and fireplace. From here we return back along the base of Wave Rock as the granite wave towers above. Along the way your guide shares Dreaming stories of Katter Kich and cultural insights into local fauna, flora and traditional bushfoods and medicine plants.2
